Naomi L. Albertson M.D. ("Dr. Ni" to her friends and patients) is Board Certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians and specializes in the non-surgical management of musculoskeletal problems, sports injuries, concussions, and the treatment of osteopenia and osteoporosis. Helping people stay active and living the lifestyle they want is her favorite thing about her practice.
Dr. Albertson works with individuals of all ages and athletes of all abilities, including high level athletes. She is also a frequent speaker on the latest in medical research and how it is practically applied to patient care.
After completing her training in 2003, Dr. Albertson helped found the Marin Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Clinic. She has also worked in Jackson Hole, Wyoming as a private practice M.D. and a volunteer treating winter sport athletes. Currently she specializes in sports medicine and musculoskeletal conditions at the Reno Orthopedic Clinic.
Dr. Albertson is also is on the Medical Advisory Board of the MedFit Education Foundation, where she speaks on topics related to sports medicine.
